What is there to say about a patio umbrella and vendor? Well, in this case a few things:1. The first one I received had an arm assembled upside down such that the embedded light pointed up. I reported it and the replacement process was very simple! 5 stars for problem solving.2. Materials: the tarp part of the umbrella seems to be made with a very durable fabric. The frame is the typical thin wall stuff you would expect. One minor gripe, the bottom pole is a little short, not a problem for me since my base is slightly taller than the cheap ones. But if you have a basic base that more or less puts the bottom of the pole on the ground, the umbrella will sit on the table top when in the down position. Overall: I think material quality and design are very good, especially at this price point: 4.5 stars.3. Lights: the lights on this thing are great! Not harsh, yet bright enough to be useful. The “diffuser” also makes each arm almost glow instead of having pin point lights, which is very nice! Finally the color is a cooler white, not the typical warm yellow seen at this price point. 5 stars!Material very ship that why was not really expensive… very weak materialIt’s nice but should be a bit widerHigh Quality, sturdy productWe use it for our outdoor dining table. We wanted rectangular to match the table. It is very nice and we love the cool white lighting.My main reason for purchasing this umbrella was for the solar lights which worked great last summer. This year the flickered dimly for a while and now don’t work at all. Waste of money since the company won’t take responsibility for the lights.Bought this back in November but I wanted to wait until the weather allowed us to use it before I wrote a review. We just put the patio furniture out two weeks ago and added the umbrella last week. Obviously I can't say anything yet about durability - although it looks and feels like quality material - but it has met or exceeded our initial expectations. This is a real eye catcher in the evenings above our patio table. I was expecting the light to be a series of LEDs more or less blended together by a plastic lens covering, but the actual effect is more like a uniform strip of mellow neon down each spoke of the umbrella - really slick! From the other reviews I was expecting that the light provided would mostly be aesthetic as opposed to practical, but we find that the light will be quite sufficient to allow us to dine or play cards in the evening - yet is subtle enough to allow us to see our surroundings or take in the night sky beyond the shelter of the umbrella. In other words, it's just the right balance between too dim to be useful and so bright as to be overpowering. Living on the prairie, wind is always a consideration for something like this. We've had some windy days since installing it and in its fully extended mode the wind has not seemed to bother it at all. At a tilt the wind will cause it to weathervane, but I think I can easily solve that with either a weighted tether at the low end or by shimming it where the pole goes into our umbrella stand. I would include a picture but I don't think it would adequately reflect the thoroughly satisfying experience this umbrella adds to our outdoor patio environment. I am more than pleased with the purchase and offer my highest recommendation.A little light weight but good enough,material a little thin but overall a decent product.Could have been made with stringer material.
